Our Story
A group of students who loved IT technology decided to start their own company in the dorms of Mlynská dolina. The company was officially founded on February 25, 1991.
A large part of the company is made up of the original people who experienced Mlynská dolina in the post-revolution period, with the company’s headquarters still located in Mlynská dolina, though no longer in the dorms. Two of the original founders, Stanislav Čekovský and Michal Hrabovec, have been leading the company since its inception.
Responsible Company
We are among the 14 companies that were the first to be awarded a certificate for responsible behavior. Since 2018, we have been a member of the Business Leaders Forum (BLF), which brings together companies committed to leading in the promotion of responsible business principles.
ANASOFT litera
The most prestigious literary award in Slovakia, which we have supported since 2006 when we became the general partner. The award is given for the best Slovak prose work published in the previous year.
FIRST LEGO League
Currently the largest robotics competition for young people aged 10-16. Tens of thousands of children from around the world participate in the competition every year. We have been supporting the competition's development in Slovakia since 2010.
Junior Achievement Slovensko
The leader in entrepreneurial education for students in Slovakia. Since 2005, ANASOFT has been organizing the Conference of Presidents of Student Companies as part of the Applied Economics program and the Best Business Idea competition for individuals.
DOMUS – Nonprofit Fund for Family Housing Preservation
In 2021, we succeeded in establishing the Fund for Family Housing Preservation together with the organization Úsmev ako dar. The main task is to help families who have fallen into financial difficulties and need urgent support regarding housing, otherwise, the children would have to be placed in a children's and family center.

This is the first universal online donation system in Slovakia without mediation fees and with no limitations on the number or focus of published appeals, and ANASOFT has been involved from the very beginning.
Internal Collections to Help Families in Need
Twice a year, ANASOFT employees contribute personally to help specific families in need. Over 10 years, ANASOFT employees have helped more than 30 families and hundreds of children. Additionally, employees organize clothing and furniture collections.
Environment
At ANASOFT, we care about everything. We don’t live in an IT bubble, a myth we’ve been successfully debunking since the start of our activities. We care about our employees, customers, suppliers, the local community, and the environment. We are constantly looking for simple and usable solutions that will make life better and help our environment.
We are always searching for eco-improvements. Thanks to the ideas and work of ANASOFT employees, we have built our own compost bins and planted trees.
Quality and Security
ISO 9001 is the most widespread series of standards and guidelines globally, defining requirements for management systems related to product and service quality. Since 2009, we have held a certificate of industrial security confirmation from the National Security Authority of the Slovak Republic for working with classified information at the "confidential" level, as well as EU SECRET and NATO SECRET. The certificates confirm that the company meets the stringent security requirements of national legislation and international standards and has established a system for working with classified information at the "Restricted" and "Confidential" levels.
